Amazing News!!!! Last known living Dodo was just discovered by Society Regent, Lady M. Wong!!

Recently on the tiny island of Mauritius just east of Madagascar. While on a biological fact finding expedition to gather specimens for the Royal Museum, Lady Wong, and her team came upon a seriously wounded female of the species Raphus cucullatus. Working with great skill the intrepid band of explorers nursed the specimen back to health.

We are proud to say that the specimen is currently doing quite well.  Much to the surprise of the team, when making record of the local flora and other fauna, they discovered that the female Dodo bird was guarding a small clutch of 3 fertile eggs. With careful husbandry and luck we at the society hope to be the first to bring the Dodo back from the brink.

Be sure to come back for news from our other expedition teams that are currently on safari at the four points of the compass.

New Member Joins the Search

The Global Adventurers Society is proud to announce our latest inductee ... The well written journalist and explorer Henry Morton Stanley of London England. Mr. Stanley will be joining fellow Society Members in the search for Dr. David Livingstone of Scotland.

Zoology Badge

Our zoologists will study and document strange animals in their natural habitats or in captivity. They record the animal's behaviors, origins, development, and interaction with other animals.

Geology Badge

Our expedition geologists are scientists who study the terrestrial planets and the solid and liquid matter that constitutes the earth. They utilize the principles of the sciences of physics, chemistry and biology. With the geologists insight we have uncovered previously lost civilizations and their artifacts.

Doctor's Badge

Our expeditions often take us to very dangerous corners of this amazing globe. These dangers are often in the form of dreaded diseases transmitted by local food, water, animals and insects. Our front line defense is the skill and knowledge of our team doctors Without their support, our teams could easily suffer horrendous fates.

Cook's Badge

The field cook is by far one of the most important positions of the expedition team. While in the wilds this person is in charge of keeping our food stores and preparing our nourishment. Often preparing favorite dishes from home, of various team members, is a comfort and morale booster when on long journeys.

Botany Badge

Our botanists study plants, algae and fungi. Discovery of new and never before seen varieties of plant-life is the first order of business for our team. They study the growth, structure, reproduction, metabolism, development and diseases of some of the strangest plants, found in the furthest corners of the globe.

Archaeology Badge

Our archaeologists are people that have a thirst for knowledge of ancient peoples, societies, and cultures. They do this by collecting and analyzing artifacts from the past. Sometimes, we are lucky and many artifacts are found through the excavation of historical sites. These items are all tagged and readied for shipment back to our research facilities at headquarters.
